For SITE Houston Gary Watson and I designed an installation to be immersive and observational, using 360° digital imaging as well as traditional black-and-white analog photography. These processes, which are at opposite poles in the world of photography, will combine and co-exist to provide for the audience a detailed visual documentary and a transformative big-picture experience. Our installation is about not only the history and renewal of a structure but also about the state of photography today.
